My Qualifications
I have a 20+ year background in construction, although construction experience is important the home inspector needs additional education to become an effective professional. I have completed course work with Inspection Training Associates (ITA) and American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT). Both of these schools are approved by New York State as qualifying schools that meet New York's guidelines. I have also taken and passed the National Home Inspectors test in September of 2005, this test is recognized as the most stringent test in the industry and much more difficult than the New York license exam.
